About Sara Pimental, Founder

Sara Pimental is the founder of Lake Stories. A former educator with an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University, she believes books have the power to spark imagination, foster empathy, and build community. She founded Lake Stories to make discovering great books more accessible through Airstream pop-ups, free local delivery by e-bike, and thoughtfully curated books, toys, and gifts. Her long-term vision is to open a permanent independent bookstore in downtown Prior Lake.
